Getting Unstuck

It appears we have lifted the Boulder Valley Curse of Chief Niwot (fingers crossed, curse uncrossed). After a detour to the mechanic to fix a bolt that had come loose in the rocker panel of Thor’s engine, we headed to Moab, Utah to take an off-road driving course with John Marshall of Coyote Adventures. An awesome success, and an empowering experience to learn how to get a 6 ton machine out of a jam.

About

I am a non-practicing psychotherapist with a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I will be working towards licensure after our travels. During our journey through Mexico and Central and South America I’m exploring other cultural and community value systems and environmental and relational dynamics that influence mental health and happiness. I am also writing a book about anger. The book includes research collected throughout my clinical and academic studies in psychology, as well as personal thoughts and life experiences as a heavy metal musician, and other’s thoughts on and/or experiences with anger.

    It was my pleasure to spend the day with you and the most incredible OZ. I wish you both or I should say the three of you the best of luck with your 15 month adventure. Your rig is outfitted for success and I think the two of you will be able to plan and strategize your way out of any misfortunes along the way.
