Our favorite countries tend to have several things in common including friendly people, indigenous culture, outdoor adventure opportunities and, preferably, a nice city or town or two to relax and recharge. During our 5 weeks in Guatemala, we discovered that it had all of this and more and it quickly became one of our favorite counties in the world.
