Cookoo for Coconuts in the Carribean

February 3, 2019

One of my favorite things about this trip has been the coconuts.  I love coconuts!  It all started with coconut oil when I was young.  There were a lot of coconuts in Mexico, and just as many in the Caribbean.  The places we have stayed have coconuts in the trees and on the ground.  Even though I already loved the coconut, my appreciation for it has grown stronger.  I never realized the other purposes of a coconut.  I can play fetch with a coconut on the ground or in the water.  The coconut is also great to chew on.  It’s more challenging than my “indestructible” chew toys.  I can coconut gaze for hours, wondering how to get it, or when it might drop to the ground.  Do you want to know the best part about of a  coconut?  The inside!  Best.  TREAT.  Ever.  Who would have thought this was where coconut oil came from?  Now, if only I can figure out how to crack them!

Love coconuts and beaches. On your trip any problems with security? I know one rule is to stay away from border towns. Love your truck

We’ve had no problems so far. Yes, but it depends on the border town too.
